UCLA Basketball: Reporter Believes Bruins Could Be Shaky In This Stat

In this story:
The UCLA Bruins basketball team is set up to be one of the best teams in the PAC-12 once again despite losing major talent.
Last season the Bruins were exceptional at outside shooting. With the losses of Tyger Campbell, Amari Bailey and David Singleton, the question is, will the new additions to the make up for these three shots.
In 2022-2023, the Bruins shot 34.1% from three point range on the season. Singleton led the way off the bench by shooting over 42% from deep.
Out of all the players the players that are returning for the 2023-2024 season, only guard Dylan Andrews shot over 30% from three last year.
This could be trouble for a team that relied so heavily on the three last year.
The biggest question for UCLA aside from early role allocation?

Outside shooting.
Bruins need major mileage out of Utah transfer Lazar Stefanovic. https://t.co/PeTbmynZdT
The Bruins are going to have to look towards its transfers to pick up the pace that last year's team set.
The team is hoping they can get great outside shooting from Utah transfer Lazar Stefanovic. The 6'7 Serbian led the Utes in three point percentage last season by shooting over 35%.
That would have ranked third on last year's UCLA roster.
The team could also find three point shooting from its incoming freshman class. Mick Cronin will first have to see where the freshman fit into the team's fit before determining anything else.
While the Bruins may struggle this season shooting, they are still projected to be one of the top teams in the PAC-12.
