About 15 hours after blowing a double-digit second half lead last night against the nationally-ranked Marquette Golden Eagles last night and losing a 71-69 nail-biter, your UCLA Bruins are back at it again today! They'll be suiting up against the Chaminade Silverswords at 2 p.m. PT.

The Silverswords are currently 1-3 on the year, and were dropped quickly by top-ranked Kansas last night, 83-56.

A win today for the (again, heavily-favored) Bruins would mean the opportunity to compete against probably Gonzaga on Wednesday for fifth place in the tournament.

Last night, freshman point guard Sebastian Mack was the Bruins' (and game's) high scorer with 25 points on 6-of-14 shooting from the floor but 13-of-13 shooting from the foul line.

Greg Waddell of The Action Network reports that the opening spread for the bout is UCLA by -28.5 points. The Bruins have looked pretty good, but it's hard to believe they'll be quite that good. I do think they'll win, but I worry that some of the three-point shooting challenges they faced yesterday against Marquette could come back to bite them today when it comes to covering. They will win, though, but I think a 15- or 20-point margin seems more realistic.
