UCLA Men's Soccer: Bruins Midfielder Named All-American

Quite the achievement!

Laiatu Latu isn't the only standout UCLA Bruins athlete earning All-American accolades this fall.

That's because the United Soccer Coaches have named men's soccer redshirt junior midfielder Tucker Lepley a Third-Team All-American last week, per UCLA Communications.

As the best player on the newly-minted 2023 Pac-12 champs, Lepley has also been named to the All-Pac-12 First Team and the All-Far West Region First Team for his achievements this year.

"We are very pleased to see Tucker recognized at the All-American level," head coach Ryen Jordan raved. "He has been hugely influential on the field for our team and as a leader in this soccer program. There are very few collegiate players that can captivate and entertain crowds the way that Tucker can and that is a special quality that we have really enjoyed during his time playing for us."

Across the Bruins' 18 games this year, Lepley scored three goals and dished out two assists. UCLA Communications notes that Lepley represents the program's first All-American in four years.

Prior to this season, the 5'6", 135-pound Charlotte native was also named to the All-Far West Region Second Team as a freshman in 2021. He also got named to the College Soccer News All-Freshman First Team, the Top Drawer Soccer Freshman Best XI First Team, and the Team MVP.
