A tandem of All-Pacific Region and All-Pac-12 UCLA Bruins women’s soccer honorees, senior forward Reilyn Turner and sophomore midfielder Ally Lemos, were both selected in the first round of the 2024 National Women’s Soccer League draft, per UCLA Communications.

Racing Louisville FC drafted Turner with the sixth overall selection. The Orlando Pride picked Lemos at No. 9. They’re the first Bruins tandem to be drafted in the top 10 for a decade, as UCLA Communications notes.

Turner is moving on from a legendary collegiate run. The Aliso Viejo native was named the Pac-12 Forward of the Year this season, while also being named a United Soccer Coaches second-team All-American. She's been honored as an All-Pacific Region and All-Pac-12 teamer in each of her four seasons. She notched 42 career goals (including 16 game winners). Her 99 career points is the sixth-most in school history, while her three career hat tricks rank third-most. The 5'9" Bruins great won three Pac-12 championships and one NCAA title during her run.

In addition to making the All-Pacific Region First Team and the All-Pac-12 this past season, Lemos, a Glendora native, was named an all-region second teamer and an all-conference third teamer during her 2022 freshman season. A starter from the jump, she boasts 17 total points, 11 dimes and three goals across her two-season Bruins stint.
