UCLA Bruins women's volleyball middle blocker Anna Dodson has notched some major postseason hardware.

Per UCLA Communications, the 6'5" redshirt senior has been honored as an AVCA NCAA Division I Honorable Mention All-American for her efforts during the 2023 season. She is the first such honoree in two seasons. Dodson was also named to her third All-Pac-12 team.

Dodson is averaging 1.24 blocks per set, while connecting on 37.4% of her shots. She helped propel the club to an 18-12 finish on the year (10-10 in Pac-12 play). Her tally of 131 total blocks is sixth-most in the Pac-12, while her 23 solo blocks rank fourth in the conference. She also logged 322 total points and 233 kills.

It's the first such recognition of Dodson's lengthy collegiate career.

On UCLA's official Instagram announcement commemorating the honor, teammate Paige Dueck simply wrote, "INSANE @annadodsonn."
Bruins/USC Trojans men's volleyball alum-turned-soccer pro Kevin Kobrine also applauded the moment, writing "yessir" on the same post.
"There she goes!!!!!," wrote six-foot Bruins senior opposite hitter Kate Lane.

UCLA Communications adds that this may not be the end of the line for Dodson just yet. She has one final season of NCAA eligibility next year.
