For the fourth time this season, sophomore UCLA Bruins women's basketball center Lauren Betts, a 6'7" transfer out of Stanford University, is UCLA's latest Student-Athlete of the Week, for the week of December 4th-10th.

It was a productive week for Betts.

On Thursday, in a 111-48 victory over the Cal State Northridge Matadors, Betts scored 18 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the floor and grabbed three rebounds in just 16:50 of action. On Sunday, Betts notched 22 points on 10-of-16 shooting from the field, 18 boards, and four blocks in a 95-78 win over the Florida State Seminoles.

This season for the still-undefeated (9-0) Bruins, Betts is averaging 17 points, 9.2 rebounds, 1.8 blocks and one assist. She's also shooting 75% from the floor, a nation-leading stat. Let's round out the stats by mentioning that Betts is converting 77.8% of her free throws per contest.
