There really is nothing better than seeing former UCLA Bruins succeeding at the professional level. Even though most fans watch highlights of their college days and wish that they were still suiting up for the blue and gold, there's a lot to love knowing that Westwood helped develop their skills to help them move on to the next chapter.

And we are seeing two former Bruins stars make a name for themselves in the WNBA as they are in the midst of their best campaigns.

First off, Michaela Onyenwere is hooping for the Phoenix Mercury this season as she is averaging nine points on 37 percent from three in 23 games thus far. It is her third professional season after spending four years at UCLA where she became a go-to option on offense.

She certainly has the potential to do the same for Phoenix and really boost her stock up this time around. Next up, we have Jordin Canada who has been able to notch 13 points and six assists per game for a familiar city while playing for the Los Angeles Sparks this year.

The Sparks have a number of floor-spacers and we all know how Canada loved to share the ball during her time in Westwood so it's great to see her being given the opportunity to do the same in the WNBA.

UCLA women's basketball has an amazing track record of producing elite talent and these are just two examples. We hope to see them continue having healthy, successful years with their respective squads and they know they'll always have the support of the school!
