The UCLA Bruins officially ended their non-conference undefeated run by dismantling Hawai'i with a final score of 85-46. During the game, the Women of Westwood were in complete control, outscoring their opponents every quarter.

The strong performance of the Bruins was led by Charisma Osborne, who brought down 17 points, including tying Kari Korver and Lisa Willis with the most three-pointers in school history.

Hawai'i was outmatched and outpaced in every aspect of the game, and they commented on this fact. Head coach Laura Beeman spoke about how talented the Bruins team is this year.

“Seeing Stanford and Washington, UCLA, obviously we knew we were going to get hit pretty hard by them,” Beeman said. “I think there are were some games we would like back – Idaho (and) Air Force, (and) Santa Clara; we were hurt. There were some games, the timing was bad."

"Get hit pretty hard," is certainly what occurred as the Bruins were flying all over the court. Kiki Rice would end the game with 14 points and 4 steals, including the one below.

Beeman also commented on the Bruins being #2 ranked in the nation, and how the team is playing at that level.

“UCLA’s the No. 2 team in the country. They came out and played like it,” Beeman said. "They set a tone and a level of physicality very, very quickly, and hit some tough shots. It took us a little bit of time to get used to the pace and just make our adjustments."

The Bruins have been outpacing their opponents by a great margin this season, but the true test will now happen on December 30.

UCLA will square off against USC, which has its own undefeated squad. Now that conference play is about o start, the Bruins will need to ensure they keep this pace up with the other undefeated Pac-12 teams.
