UCLA Women's Basketball Vs Arizona: How To Watch, Odds, Predictions, And More

In this story:
The 12-10 Arizona Wildcats head to Pauley Pavilion tonight to take on your 17-4 UCLA Bruins, currently the No. 9-ranked club in the land.
UCLA may be without its best player, 6’7” sophomore center Lauren Betts, for a fifth straight game as she deals with a still-undisclosed medical issue. She has returned to team practices but has yet to be cleared to play, per Alexa Philippou of ESPN.
In recent games, head coach Cori Close has relied upon her best guards, grad student Charisma Osborne and sophomore Kiki Rice, to step up their play. Close has made a point to reconfigure her offensive approach around perimeter play, after previously running much of her club’s attack on both ends through Betts.
Prior to her absence, Betts had been shortlisted for major national player of the year consideration. She's averaging 15.4 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.1 blocks a night. The Bruins will also be without a pair of contributors, senior Angela Dugalic and sophomore Lina Sontag, who will be participating Olympic qualifying games for Serbia and Germany, respectively.
Even with a growing list of availability issues, UCLA should have enough talent at the guard spot to handle the Wildcats. Let's give them an eight-point victory, 66-58.
Tonight's action tips off at 8 p.m. PT on the Pac-12 Network and Pac-12 Los Angeles, with Ann Schatz and Tammy Blackburn providing commentary. The contest will be viewable on UCLA Digital Radio, with Dave Marcus on the call.

Alex likes slam dunks, take him to the hoop. His favorite play is the alley-oop.
