USC Basketball: 2024 Trojans Commit is Posting Insane 3PT Stat

The Trojans' top 2024 commit has been landing three-pointers at a ridiculous percentage.

The USC Trojans could lose some players next season to the draft, but they can bank on having reinforcements in a highly exciting 2024 commit. That commit is Trent Perry, who is coming over from Harvard Westlake in Studio City.

Perry has been turning heads and will arrive to play with the Men of Troy as a four-star commit. He has landed on the 247 Sports' biggest risers and top newcomers list. Ranked 50th in his class, he is also the #5 ranked point guard along with being the seventh-best player in California. 

To add to his growing resume, Perry has been named a McDonald's All-American and will be showcasing his talents in Houston. Perry has also been posting a ridiculous stat from the three-point line this season. 

Posting a 50% success rate is insane when it comes to three-pointers. To put this in perspective, that percentage would place Perry among greNBA greats like Steve Kerr and Detlef Schrempf. 

Boogie Ellis is currently shooting 45.5% from the 3PT line, and the next closest is Oziyah Sellers with 41%. Perry adding a 50% success rate would be amazing in putting up the numbers for distance shooting for the entire team. 

The hope is that Perry can continue shooting at such a high degree when he transfers to USC. The college game is far faster, so we will see if Perry can
