USC Basketball: Bronny James Favored To Join Big-Market East Franchise

Could Bronny go from one big market to another?

USC freshman guard Bronny James: will he stay, or will he go?

That will be the million-dollar question once the college basketball season ends and all signs point to the freshman guard leaving for the pro level. Say what you want about his readiness or preparedness, but the name on the back of his jersey holds a ton of weight. His odds of being drafted aren't too high, but that isn't stopping BetUS from placing odds on where he will land next season.

According to the BetUS, the New York Knicks hold the second shortest odds to draft James at +800.

The Los Angeles Lakers, where his father plays and future Hall of Famer LeBron James, have the highest odds to land Bronny at +200.

The elder James has been rumored to be in New York for the past handful of weeks. When the Lakes visited New York two weeks ago, he called Madison Square Garden his 'favorite playground.' The aurora around New York is palpable, and they could be serious players if Bronny lands in the Big Apple.

The four-time MVP has a player option after this season; however, the Lakers are adamant they want him to retire a Laker. The race for Bronny — and LeBron will heat up this summer.
