The men’s and women’s clubs appear to be headed in opposite directions this season. At 8-12 this year despite a top-tier Andy Enfield recruiting class that includes former five-star addition Isaiah Collier (the top prospect in this year’s class) and recent four-star addition Bronny James, the USC Trojans men’s team is in danger of missing out on March Madness entirely this year. The team has dropped its past five contests, with Collier on the shelf due to a hand surgery.
The top women’s basketball recruit in the nation, JuJu Watkins out of Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth (also Bronny James’ alma matter), has exceeded all reasonable expectations for a freshman on her USC Women of Troy. The team is currently at 13-3, and ranked among the top programs in the land. Watkins is the nation’s second-leading scorer, and in addition to being in contention for a variety of freshman awards, is apparently under consideration as one of the best players of the year in any grade.

Tell Alex, were you in the joint the night Wilt scored 100 points? Or when the Celtics won titles back-to-back and didn't give nobody no kind of slack?
