USC Women's Basketball: McKenzie Forbes Added To Women's College All-Star Watch List

A worthy inclusion!

Amidst a flurry of end-of-year honors that have been unveiled in recent days, USC Women of Troy guard McKenzie Forbes has joined a 60-senior-strong list of candidates in this year's Women’s College All-Star Game Watch List, the Trojans have announced via their official X/Twitter account.

Only 20 of those 60 seniors will partake in the game itself, scheduled to tip off at 12:30 p.m. PT on ESPN2 on Saturday, April 6th in Cleveland. In all, six Pac-12 Conference seniors made the cut, including crosstown rival Charisma Osborne, a grad student guard at UCLA.

Forbes was also named to the 2024 All-Pac-12 Team earlier this week, alongside freshman USC shooting guard teammate JuJu Watkins. Their colleague Rayah Marshall, a 6'4" junior center, barely missed out, and was named an Honorable Mention.

A Folsom native, Forbes split her undergrad years between the California Golden Bears (well, the University of California at Berkley Golden Bears, if you want to get technical) and the Harvard Crimson. She was named a 2022 All-Ivy honoree and a 2023 All-Ivy Tourney inclusion while at Harvard. Across 28 contests with the 2023-24 Trojans (23-5), the six-footer posted averages of 13.1 points on .375/.355/.763 shooting splits, 3.1 rebounds, 3.4 dimes and 0.7 steals a night.
