Former USC Football Standout Makes Huge Donation to Old High School

In this story:
On Friday afternoon, Seattle Seahawks linebacker and Trojan alum Uchenna Nwosu made a charitable trip to his old stomping grounds, Nathaniel Narbonne High School, in Harbor City, California.
The defensive playmaker, who recently inked a 3-year extension with Seattle in the offseason, wrote an $80,000 check to fund an athletic trainer and create a training room at his alma mater, Ashley Mackey of ABC News reports.
Nwosu remarked on the matter: "It's just so surreal to be back here 9, 10 years later and see how much has changed, how things are growing and how I can help be a part of that."
When asked about the impact of Uchenna's work, Mark Iheanachro, a 4-star linebacker at Narbonne with offers from Arizona, Arizona State, California, Indiana, and more, was quoted saying:
"You have people surrounding you that's [want you] to be great and want to help you in the long run. Little stuff like that is what helps us just put our head down and keep moving forward."
"That's the one thing that could help these kids become better at what they do and who they are and help them in the future," said Nwosu.
Nwosu's donation is no surprise, as his history of giving back to his alma maters extends to his involvement with the University of Southern California, where he is an NFL player ambassador for Conquest Collective, a brand-building NIL agency for USC student-athletes.
The former All Pac-12 First Team linebacker's work is greatly appreciated in the community, and the Seahawk does this while enjoying another great season. Just last week, he recorded two sacks in a 24-3 routing of the New York Giants and continues to be an anchor on a Seattle defense that's tied for the league lead in sacks per game through Week 4.
