In this story:

The Trojans 2025 class currently has one commit and is ranked 15th in the nation. No need to panic, Trojan fans, there is plenty of time to turn things around, and with Lincoln Riley at the helm., there's no doubt they will be among the best classes when things ramp up.

USC has a ton of guys on their radar and vice versa. One of the top prospects interested in the Troajns is a four-star tight end from Georgia, Ethan Barbour.

Barbour will graduate in 2025, and although he is just entering his junior season, he has already narrowed his list of potential schools to eight, and USC is among them.

The Trojans are the only west coast team on his list as he also has Ohio State, South Carolina, Flordia State, Georgia, Auburn, Alabama, and Texas.

Barbourn broke down why these schools are in his top eight to On3.

“I have really just decided to focus on the schools that I feel have the best fit for me as a player and the schools that have been consistent throughout the process,” Barbour said.

Barbour stands at 6'5", 225 pounds. He is ranked 178 nationally, the sixth-ranked TE, and number 21 in Georgia. He will indeed thrive at the next level and expressed how important it is to find a school that could bring the best out of him.

“The big thing for me is relationships,” Barbour said. “There are a lot of great programs out there, but ultimately I want to go to a place that values my skill set and feels like home…So far, based on my visits, interactions with the coaching staff, and how they utilize their tight ends, I feel like these are all good fits for me and who I have great relationships with.”

USC acquired the top tight end of the 2023 class in Duce Robinson, and if they can sue him well and succeed under Lincoln Riley, that could be a good sign for Ethan and his decision down the road.

The Trojans will remain in the running for top talent now; they must finish the job and bring them to Southern California.
