USC Football: Caleb Williams Receives Player Comp to 10-Time Pro-Bowler

USC Trojans quarterback Caleb Williams has all the tools to make it in the NFL. He is expected to be selected first overall in the upcoming NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears, giving them a franchise quarterback to build around.

Williams is one of the more highly-anticipated prospects to come out of college in a long time, giving scouts different looks at everything he can do on the football field. He can make every read and plays very well while on the run. This is exactly what teams look for in a franchise player and he has been given a comparison to a 10-time Pro-Bowler.

Williams was compared to New York Jets quarterback, Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers has dominated the NFL for years and if Williams' career is anything like his, the Bears will be in excellent shape.

The two players do play similar styles of games, with Williams's arm being very strong. He has the ball placement to give his wide recievers just an inch of space to catch the ball over defenders, something that many players don't know how to do well.

Williams will have some strong weapons to throw to right away, as the Bears have put together a solid offense for him to inherit. They traded for star wide receiver Keenan Allen from the Los Angeles Chargers to pair alongside D.J. Moore. This should give Williams a great start in the league, potentially allowing Chicago to compete for the postseason in his first year.

Williams will need to prove himself in the league but he has the needed skills to make it happen. All eyes will be on him and the Bears this season but they wouldn't want it any other way.
