USC Football: Trojans Host Kansas State Transfer Portal QB

The Trojans are hosting a Kansas State transfer portal QB that could replace Caleb Williams.

The USC Trojans could be dealing with a tricky situation next season in the Big Ten Conference, as they will presumably head into 2024 without Caleb Williams. Williams has not yet declared for the NFL Draft, though he would be a high pick if he chose to.

That said, Williams' exit would mean that Miller Moss would become QB1. Moss is set to start in that position for the Holiday Bowl, which will see the Trojans take on Louisville. Miller has been nothing short of amped for his role, stating he has been waiting for his crack at the starting job.

Though Moss would theoretically be up for QB1 come 2024, he could be battling it out with a transfer portal QB, which he also exclaimed does not scare him. That transfer portal QB could be Will Howard of the Kansas State Wildcats.

Howard posted his arrival at the Trojans campus via his Instagram page, which was then shared on X. Adding Howard to the QB room would certainly be welcomed.

Howard ended the 2023 season with 2,643 yards, 24 TDs, and 10 INTs. The senior prospect would add some competition for Moss and could win out the starting job if he commits to USC.

His visit is only just happening, so we have to wait to see if Lincoln Riley and company can guide the young man to be part of the Men of Troy.

season.
