USC Football: Trojans Make Top Schools List for Julian "Juju" Marks

In this story:
St. Thomas Aquinas (Lenexa, KC) junior Julian "Juju" Marks made public the schools he'll be focusing on for the remainder of his recruitment. USC was mentioned alongside Miami, Notre Dame, Missouri, Tennessee, Michigan, Oklahoma, Oregon, Alabama, and local programs Kansas and Kansas State.
On3 considers Marks the 207th-best recruit in the class of 2025, the 20th-best defensive lineman, and the 5th-best recruit coming out of the State of Kansas in this cycle. He measures up at 6'7" and about 275 pounds.
Marks shined on both offense and defense this season, but recruiters see him as a defensive lineman at the next level. Marks has taken a couple of visits to Missouri throughout his recruitment and spoke with 247Sports' Steve Wiltfong about his most recent visit back in October.
"After visiting Mizzou five times, it felt more and more like home and watching their defensive scheme and how Coach Davis coaches the d line, it’s something I want to be a part of and I want to make something special," said Marks.
Marks was once previously to Missouri, but that lasted only about a month before he decided to re-open his recruitment. The lengthy Marks has an excellent frame to build on at the next level, and likely projects as an interior defensive lineman at the next level. He's somebody who can eat up double teams but still shed blocks and pursue ball carriers using his quickness.
