USC Football: Trojans Courting 2025 Wide Receiver Shaun Terry

Shaun Terry is a wide receiver out of Ohio with a developing offer list

Ironton (Ironton, OH) 2025 wide receiver Shaun Terry has received a scholarship offer from USC, he announced on X/Twitter today. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound receiver lined up at both slot receiver and out on the end in addition to returning punts and kicks during his junior season at Ironton High School.

He's got excellent straight-line speed and is super shifty with the ball in his hands as well (he also plays point guard on Ironton's basketball team). A lot of his junior film (hyperlinked at the bottom of this article) highlights his elite yards after catch ability. He's the type of player coaches want to feed the ball to 10 times a game due to his big play potential.

Rivals rates Terry as a three-star prospect, as does 247 Sports. Terry is currently considering offers from Auburn, Illinois, Iowa, Eastern Michigan, Michigan, Penn State, and West Virginia to name a few. His offer list is nearly 20 schools deep, and looks to grow given the quality of the film he put together during his junior season.

Luke Huard, the Trojans' inside wide receivers coach, put in the call, along with head coach Lincoln Riley, to offer Terry his scholarship. This could hint at USC fancying Terry as a slot receiver over an outside receiver.

USC currently has zero commits in their 2025 recruiting class, but have verbal commitments of four players in their 2026 class. Given the 2024 cycle is quickly winding down to a close here in February, USC should be receiving some verbal commitments from 2025's here within the next few weeks.
