The USC women's water polo team picked up two massive wins at the Convergence Tournament on Friday evening. They got their ninth and 10th wins on the year with a 21-7 win over Villanova and an 18-4 win at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.

The Trojans are now 10-3 overall on the season, looking very strong early on.

In the win over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, the Trojans shut them out in the third period. This marks the eighth time that USC has held opponents scoreless in a period this season.

"Four Trojans hit hat tricks in the day's opener, with sophomore Molly Glad setting a new career high in joining Ava Stryker, Alejandra Aznar and Rachel Gazzaniga with three-goal outbursts against Villanova. USC punched up the first three goals of the game before giving up one to the Wildcats."

The Trojans will look to keep their winning ways going strong, helping ensure another successful season. It's been a solid start for them, but there is plenty of work still to be done.
