Jerry West Documentary Set to Hit Prime Video in Mid-April

In this story:
One of the greatest basketball players of all time is not only a West Virginia Mountaineer, but a West Virginian. That player, of course, is the late Jerry West, who will have a documentary about his life and career in basketball released on April 16th on Prime Video, titled Jerry West: "The Logo."
A few days ago, Prime Video released a trailer for the doc, which featured clips of interviews with some of the greatest basketball players of all-time, many of whom were directly impacted by West.

Kevin Durant: “He was just another level.”
Michael Jordan: “This dude, he was good.”
Magic Johnson: “There’s no Showtime without him.”
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar: “It went in a lot.” - on his shot
Pat Riley: “He could see talent.”
Shaquille O'Neal: "Jerry West made all my dreams come true.”
Stephen Curry: “It allowed us to have confidence in what we were building was going to work.”
Jerry was not only a tremendous basketball player, but he was also great at everything he did. Although he only spent three seasons as the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, he compiled a record of 145-101 and, in his first year, won a division title.
Once he stepped into the front office, he quickly became one of the best executives in the sport. From 1979-2000, he created two dynasties with the Lakers, first with the Showtime Lakers, which featured Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and James Worthy — a group that would go on to win five NBA championships.
In 1996, he struck a deal with the Charlotte Hornets to acquire the draft rights to Kobe Bryant in exchange for Vlade Divac and then signed Shaq in free agency. That duo won three championships in a row
He left L.A. for Memphis in 2002 and helped turn the Grizzlies into a contender in the Western Conference, reaching the playoffs for the first time in franchise history and making it there three straight years.
The next dynasty he helped build was the Golden State Warriors. Steph Curry was already in place, but played a big role in drafting his "Splash Brother" Klay Thompson, glue guy Draymond Green, and ultimately bringing Kevin Durant to the Bay Area.
His final job in the league was with the Los Angeles Clippers, where he played a role in helping them land the duo of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard.
This documentary is long overdue, but it will be great to see an in-depth look at one of the best basketball minds and people to have walked the Earth.
