Wisconsin running back Braelon Allen limped off the field in last Saturday's 24-10 loss to Ohio State, In the second quarter of the game, Allen sustained a lower left leg injury that forced him to exit the field prematurely, casting uncertainty over his immediate future in the season.

Allen had accumulated 50 rushing yards and two fumbles—one of which was lost—before his exit.

In addition to Allen, Badgers wide receiver Chimere Dike also faced an injury setback during the game. Dike was unable to participate in the second half due to a leg injury.

Injuries have plagued the Badgers throughout this season. They are already without running back Chez Mellusi, who is out for the season due to a broken leg suffered against Purdue. Tanner Mordecai was also been sidelined because of a hand injury during their bout against Iowa earlier this month.

As the Badgers regroup and assess the impact of these injuries, the status of Braelon Allen remains a concern. The young star's injury will likely have repercussions on Wisconsin's offensive strategies and their prospects for the remainder of the season.
