An assassin's best friend, Edge of Night acts as a replacement for Guardian’s Angel but its arguably better. Once per combat if the holder drops below 60% of their max health, they become untargetable, shed all negative effects and gain bonus attack speed. This is perfect for any mobile melee carry champion.

An item that is a little bit awkward. The last item in S-Tier is another versatile flex item that can be used both on tanks and backline carries. Adaptive Helm is another mana gain alternative to any champion but the way it gives mana is dependent on whether the champion is in the front two rows or the back two. In the front two rows, the item gives armor and magic resist while giving the holder mana when they are hit. In the back two rows, the item gives a little bit of Ability Power and grants the holder mana every few seconds passively. The item is a fantastic third option on any champion.
