Penn State (-14.5) at Illinois. In the preseason, this looked like a fun matchup after the Illini played well a year ago, but after a 1-1 start for Bret Bielema's, this game could turn into another showcase for PSU to prove it belongs in the Big Ten and playoff convo behind quarterback Drew Allar, who's hitting 78% of his throws with no turnovers.
LSU (-10.5) at Mississippi State. Looking to climb out of the 1-1 hole since the FSU loss, the Tigers roll into Starkville to play among the cowbells against a Bulldog team playing some good defense and running the ball with authority. Zach Arnett comes into his first SEC game as head coach looking to make a good impression.
South Carolina at Georgia (-27.5). The Bulldogs' defense line up against a skilled quarterback in Spencer Rattler, an 83% passer through two games but working behind a line that allowed 9 sacks in the opener to a UNC defense that was simply not good a year ago. Georgia's pursuit group will pose a far, far tougher test.
Washington (-16.5) at Michigan State. No Mel Tucker on the sideline for Sparty as he serves a suspension, but the line suggests some skepticism around Washington being a complete team, which it has been the first two games. Michael Penix brings back his two elite targets and the front seven is playing a more physical game this year.
Tennessee (-6.5) at Florida. Big Orange is on the cusp of a two-game win streak in this rivalry, but oddsmakers clearly think the Gators can hang with the Vols, who played some sluggish offense against Austin Peay a week ago. Florida trashed McNeese last week but its attack didn't look ready against Utah in the opener.
