Championship Saturday is set after an action-packed Rivalry Week that helped separate the wheat from the chaff not only in the conference title race, but when it comes to College Football Playoff selection and the national championship hunt. Now, it's time to get a look at the updated rankings heading into a critical Friday and Saturday.

  • Michigan will play for the Big Ten after taking out Ohio State a third-straight year
  • Georgia stayed undefeated against Tech in a historic 29th straight victory, and will face Alabama in the SEC title game
  • Texas, Oklahoma State will meet in the Big 12 Championship Game after the Cowboys' remarkable comeback effort against BYU
  • Florida State edged the Gators and will take on Louisville, which lost to Kentucky in the finale, for the ACC conference championship
  • Oregon gets Washington in a rematch for the Pac-12 title and a shot not only at revenge for its only loss, but a chance at the playoff with a win

Where does that leave things in the latest rankings? Here's your look at the updated poll for Championship Saturday, according to the AP top 25 voters.

AP top 25 biggest movers

Oregon State (Down 6). The Beavers fall in the rankings after losing a 24-point decision against rival Oregon, and then losing head coach Jonathan Smith. And that's before losing their entire conference effective this summer.

Louisville (Down 6). A loss to Kentucky to close out dropped the Cardinals to two losses, but they have a shot to leave an impression against Florida State in the ACC title game.

Ohio State (Down 4). A third-straight loss to Michigan has the people of Ohio throwing some looks at Ryan Day, but the Buckeyes are still in position to make and win a good bowl game.
