Football games on TV today: Thursday night schedule

All times Eastern

Rice at Tulsa
Thurs., Oct. 19 | 7 p.m. | ESPN2
Line: Tulsa -3
FPI pick: Tulsa 57.9% to win

The Game: Both teams come in at 3-3 overall and 1-1 in AAC conference play. Rice plays a pass-heavy game, averaging over 316 yards, and 80 percent of its total offensive production, in the air while posting just 79 yards on the ground. Tulsa plays strong against the run, allowing 129 yards and plays a balanced offense.

James Madison at Marshall
Thurs., Oct. 19 | 7 p.m. | ESPN
Line: James Madison -3.5
FPI pick: James Madison 54.9% to win

The Game: The first team to ever start 6-0 after switching from FCS to FBS, James Madison is currently bowl ineligible thanks to NCAA rules that prevent schools for playing in the postseason for 2 years after making that transition. The Dukes post 400 yards per game and play elite run defense, allowing under 43 yards on the ground, and boast a win over Virginia. Marshall is 4-2 and looking to avoid falling under .500 in Sun Belt play.

Jaguars at Saints
Thurs., Oct. 19 | 8:15 p.m. | Prime
Line: Saints -1
FPI pick: Jaguars 57% to win

The Game: The Jaguars have won 3 straight and sit at 1st place in the AFC South but quarterback Trevor Lawrence is questionable with a left knee sprain. New Orleans is playing the league's 5th ranked total defense and pass defense, but has lost 3 of its last 4 games total and rushing for under 96 yards per game on average.
