Ohio State 5-star WR Jeremiah Smith's 1-word reaction to Tony Alford joining Michigan

The college football coaching carousel took another notable turn after we learned that Michigan hired running backs coach Tony Alford away from Ohio State to take the same position with the Wolverines for the 2024 season.
That news appears to have surprised Jeremiah Smith, the Buckeyes' biggest recruiting gain in this cycle, as the wide receiver took to X/Twitter to express his shock.

Smith was the No. 1 ranked overall prospect in the 2023 college football recruiting class, according to a consensus of the four national recruiting services.
Alford was the second-longest tenured coach at Ohio State, ranking behind just defensive line coach Larry Johnson, who joined the program in 2014.
Alford will replace the outgoing Mike Hart, a former Michigan running back and RBs coach who departed the program this offseason.
A former running back himself, Alford has been in the coaching ranks at the position for the past quarter century, and was with the Buckeyes since 2015.
