Ohio State football player Avery Henry undergoing chemotherapy

Ohio State football player Avery Henry is a month into chemotherapy treatment not long after making his cancer battle public.
Henry announced an osteosarcoma diagnosis dating back to December when he first went public with his chemotherapy in January.
Osteosarcoma is a rare type of bone cancer.
"It's been roughly a month since my first chemo treatment," Henry said on Twitter.
It’s been roughly a month since my first chemo treatment. I want to keep you guys updated on the process. Yesterday my younger brother and I decided to shave our hair! I can’t thank you enough Dane. You may be my younger brother but in many ways I look up to you! 💛 #Averystrong pic.twitter.com/7ScbuSKSvn

Henry originally committed to Iowa State before flipping his commitment to the Buckeyes.
He didn't see any live action for Ohio State during his freshman season this past fall, but was present with the team for the College Football Playoff Peach Bowl semifinal against Georgia.
Standing at 6-foot-6 and 309 pounds, Henry was a four-year starter at offensive tackle at St. Clairsville, playing on a team that went to the Division IV regional finals in Ohio.
