The Houston Astros beat the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday by a score of 8-2, marking the second consecutive win for Houston over the best team in the American League.
Jose Altuve and Alex Bregman each had three hits in the win while Kyle Tucker hit his 21st home run. The Astros moved to 66-49 on the season and remain in the second spot in the American League wild card picture.

Baker now has 2,159 career wins and trails Connie Mack (3,731), Tony La Russa (2,884), John McGraw (2,763), Bobby Cox (2,504), Joe Torre (2,326) and Sparky Anderson (2,194) on the all-time list. Each of those six managers is in the Hall of Fame and Baker is certainly building himself a resume fit for Cooperstown as well.
Baker has been to the World Series three times, winning it with the Astros in 2022. He's also taken five different franchises to the playoffs (Giants, Cubs, Reds, Nationals and Astros). He is the one who helped guide the Astros out of the 2017 sign-stealing fallout as well and has been a steady hand for the organization.
Baker will look for win number 2,160 on Thursday afternoon when the Astros visit the Orioles again. First pitch is set for 12:35 p.m. ET as Hunter Brown (HOU) pitches against Dean Kremer (BAL).
