In this story:

New York Mets star Francisco Lindor accomplished a little bit of personal history on Thursday night, recording the first 30 stolen base mark of his career.

The following update comes from the Rotowire fantasy baseball portal:

Lindor went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two stolen bases in Thursday's loss to the Phillies.

ANALYSIS
The shortstop's bat has slowed down in September -- Lindor's slashing .257/.325/.392 through 83 plate appearances -- but he's remained busy on the basepaths with four steals in his last four games, giving him 30 in a season for the first time in his career. Lindor still has an outside shot at a 30-30 campaign, but he would need four homers in the Mets' final nine contests to pull it off.

That would be quite an accomplishment if he's able to pull it off and he has hit the 30-home run mark three times before in his career (2017-2019).

Despite the slow September, Lindor has had a productive season overall, hitting .251 with 26 homers, 88 RBI and the 30 steals. He's also got a .332 on-base percentage.

The four-time All-Star is also a two-time Gold Glover who is in his ninth year in the big leagues with the Guardians and Mets.

He's a lifetime .274 hitter who has 210 home runs.

The Mets are one of the biggest disappointments in the league, sitting at 71-82 this season.

They'll take on the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday night in Philadelphia. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. ET as Tylor Megill (NYM) pitches against Taijuan Walker.
