The Baltimore Orioles visited the Chicago Cubs on Friday which meant that the O's got to see old friend Trey Mancini, who they traded last year. The wholesome video of the reunion went viral on social media.

On Friday afternoon before the Chicago Cubs hosted the Baltimore Orioles, the O's got to reunite with longtime teammate Trey Mancini. The video of Mancini meeting up with former teammates and members of the organization went viral on social media.

As of this posting, the video has more than 3,000 likes and has been shared by multiple prominent baseball personalities including Sarah Langs of MLB.com and Buster Olney of ESPN.

Mancini spent 5.5 years in Baltimore before dealt to the Astros at the trade deadline in 2022. 

He was actually in the O's organization for 6.5 years but didn't play in the 2020 season as he battled a cancer diagnosis and treatment, which he subsequently beat. He helped the Astros win the 2022 World Series over the Philadelphia Phillies.

He signed a two-year deal with the Cubs this offseason and is hitting .242 with four homers, 21 RBI and a .310 on-base percentage over 178 at-bats.

For his career, he's a .264 hitter with 129 homers and 393 RBI. He hit a career-high 35 homers in 2019.

At the time of this posting, the Cubs lead the Orioles, 3-2, in the bottom of the fifth inning. Mancini is 1-1 with a double.

If the Cubs are able to win this game, they'll move to 32-37 on the year while a loss would drop the Orioles to 43-26.

The two teams will play again on Saturday at 2:20 p.m. ET. as Kyle Gibson (Orioles) pitches against Justin Steele (Cubs).
