On Tuesday, Boston Red Sox star Rafael Devers recorded his milestone 500th RBI.

On Wednesday, Devers recorded his milestone 200th career double.

And just like he did on Tuesday, Devers joined an exclusive club in team history.

The popular Twitter account @SoxNotes tweeted:

Rafael Devers is the 31st player to hit 200 doubles for the Red Sox. At 26 years and 219 days old, Devers is the 3rd-youngest player to reach that mark with the Red Sox, behind only Hall of Famers Bobby Doerr and Tris Speaker.

Devers won't be 27 until the end of October and is already putting himself into some serious company within Red Sox lore.

At the time of this posting, Devers is 1-3 with the double against the Cincinnati Reds. He's hitting .248 on the season with 13 homers and 47 RBI. He's posted a .786 OPS.

For his career, he's a .280 hitter with 152 homers and 502 RBI. He's a two-time All-Star who helped the Red Sox win the World Series in 2018. He signed a massive $300+ million extension this past offseason.

He's also received MVP votes in three different seasons.

At the time of this posting, the Red Sox lead the Reds, 3-2, in the top of the sixth inning.

The Sox and Reds will finish out the series on Thursday night. First pitch is slated for 7:10 p.m.

After that, the Red Sox will play host to the Tampa Bay Rays in a critical series where they'll play four games in three days at Fenway Park.
