On Sunday, we wrote an article detailing the Texas Rangers and why they have the league's best offense. You can read that here, which came out after the Rangers pummeled the Rockies, 13-3.

On Monday, there is even more information being released about why Texas is so good at the plate.

This comes courtesy of the Twitter account @statmuse:

Highest batting average with runners in scoring position (min 25 at-bats):

.511 — Marcus Semien

.500 — Jonah Heim

.475 — Cedric Mullins

.455 — Yordan Alvarez

That's two Rangers at the top of the charts. It's fairly self-explanatory, but if you can bring runners in when you're supposed to bring runners in, you can win a lot of games.

Too many teams waste scoring chances, the Rangers don't.

Semien, signed before the 2022 offseason, is really starting to pay off for Texas. He's hitting .305 with seven home runs this season after hitting just .248 a season ago.

Semien has already made an All-Star team in his career, but he could be headed to Seattle for this year's Midsummer Classic.

As for Heim, he's one of the better hitting catchers in the league. The switch-hitter is posting a .296 average with six home runs heading into Monday's action.

As a team, the Rangers:

--Have scored the most runs in baseball at 297. Tampa Bay is second at 290 and the Dodgers are third.

--Are third in baseball in hits, behind Tampa Bay and the St. Louis Cardinals

--Are tied for third in doubles at 94. The Boston Red sox have the most at 105.

--Are seventh in home runs at 63

--Lead the league in batting average at .272

--Outfielder Adolis Garcia leads the league in RBI at 49. Rafael Devers of the Red Sox is second at 44.

The Rangers will take on the Pittsburgh Pirates tonight at 6:35 p.m. ET.
