Likely Number 1 Pick in NBA Draft Victor Wembanyama Hangs Out at Yankee Stadium on Tuesday

In this story:
It's about to a very busy few days for Victor Wembanyama.
The once-in-a-generation talent is set to be the No. 1 overall selection in the NBA Draft on Thursday, but before that, he's making the rounds in New York, showing up at Yankee Stadium on Tuesday before the Yankees take on the Seattle Mariners.
The Yankees twitter account posted some photos of "Wemby" hanging out with the team, the fans and even taking some batting practice.

The 7-foot-4 French player is said to be the best draft prospect since LeBron James, with some saying he might be the best draft prospect in the history of sports.
That's right.
ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski said just that back in May.
“This is the most highly-anticipated player to ever enter the NBA,” Wojnarowski said. “This is maybe not only the greatest prospect in the NBA’s history, [he’s] maybe the greatest prospect in the history of team sports."
'The Athletic's' Sam Vecenie said this about him in an article on May 16.
Wembanyama has elite length for a center. He stands over 7-foot-4 in shoes with a near-8-foot wingspan and will be among the longest centers in the NBA from day one. Beyond that, Wembanyama has a relatively skinny yet well-proportioned frame that should continue to be able to add weight. He’s already over 230 pounds and has retained a large amount of the coordination and athleticism that has made him special as an offensive player. He’s not an elite run-and-jump athlete, but he’s good and more than anything possesses terrific hand-eye coordination and fluidity for his size. He gets off the ground quickly as a jumper, even if his vertical leap likely isn’t massive. His balance is unlike that of any “super giant” who has entered the NBA previously.
The NBA Draft is Thursday at the Barclay's Center in New York. The San Antonio Spurs have the top pick.
Wembanyama is taking in a Yankees-Mariners game that begins at 7:05 p.m. ET.
