Los Angeles Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto Have Awesome Moment as Teammate Teaches Them Spanish

The Los Angeles Dodgers have all kinds of expectations on them entering the 2024 season, but they are still finding a way to stay loose in spring training. Check out the hilarious moment within the post of Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto learning Spanish courtesy of teammate Teoscar Hernandez.

The Los Angeles Dodgers enter the 2024 season with a mountain of expectations unlike anything we've seen in recent memory.

After spending more than $1 billion this offseason on Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, James Paxton, and Teoscar Hernandez, and then trading for Tyler Glasnow, the team is the favorite to win the World Series.

Despite the weight of the world being on their shoulders though, the team is finding a way to stay loose at spring training.

Take for instance the hysterical moment which was captured on Wednesday of Hernandez teaching Spanish to both Ohtani and Yamamoto.

That's some good stuff right there, and both players seemed to have a knack for it.

Ohtani signed a 10-year, $700 million contract this offseason and comes to Los Angeles after spending six years with the crosstown Angels. He's already a two-time MVP and perhaps the most talented player we've ever seen in baseball. A lifetime .274 hitter, he's got 171 home home runs and led the American League last year with 44. He also is one of the top pitchers in baseball, but won't be able to pitch this season after elbow surgery.

As for Hernandez, he joins the Dodgers after an eight-year career that has taken him to Houston, Toronto and Seattle. He hit .258 a season ago with 26 homers and 93 RBI for the Mariners. He made the All-Star Game in 2021.

Yamamoto helped Team Japan win the World Baseball Classic and signed the biggest free agent contract ever for a pitcher this offseason ($325 million).
