The 27-year-old Rosario is in his seventh year in the big leagues with the Mets and Guardians - and now Dodgers. He's a lifetime .273 hitter with 57 home runs, 316 RBI and 90 stolen bases.
This year, he's hitting .265 with three homers, 40 RBI and nine stolen bases. He profiles to be a good option against left-handers, who he's hitting .303 against this season.
As for Freeman, he's one of the most accomplished players of his generation. A lifetime .300 hitter, he's hitting .328 this year with 21 homers and 71 RBI. He's also added 12 stolen bases, made the All-Star team and is one of the few guys who can give Ronald Acuna Jr. a run for his money in the National League MVP race.
The Dodgers lost on Wednesday to the Toronto Blue Jays and are now 58-43. At the time of this posting, they lead the National League West by 3.5 games.
The Dodgers are off on Thursday and will open up a new series with the Cincinnati Reds on Friday.
First pitch is 10:10 p.m. ET.
