New York Yankees stars Aaron Judge, Gerrit Cole and Aaron Boone hit the 'Today Show' set on Monday to discuss the team's 'HOPE Week' initiative.

The Yankees have been holding 'Hope Week' since 2009 as a way to give back to the community.

Per MLB.com:

On each of five consecutive days during the celebration of HOPE Week, the Yankees shine a spotlight on a different individual, family or organization worthy of recognition and support. Each day is designed so honorees can share their inspirational stories with Yankees players, fans and the media, while being surprised with the day of their dreams. Though each day's celebration ultimately culminates with a visit to Yankee Stadium on the day of a game, outreach typically takes place at a location in the community that symbolizes the accomplishments of the honoree.

On Tuesday's July 4th game against the Baltimore Orioles, the Yankees will be hosting 10 women with ALS, including noted baseball researcher Sarah Langs of MLB.com.

Boone worked with Langs at ESPN and spoke about having her at Yankee Stadium:

"It's going to be emotional...ALS, unfortunately, we don't have a cure for. And those who have been touched by that disease, it's awful. One of ours in the baseball community, Sarah Langs, is going to be one of those people that we get to honor... she's an amazing person and she is working and thriving and living with it right now and we're going to get be around some amazing women tomorrow to honor them and hopefully shine more of a light on ALS..."

Tuesday is the 84th anniversary of Lou Gehrig's famous "Luckiest man" speech.

First pitch is at 1:05 p.m. ET.
