Despite being injured, Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop Oneil Cruz gave fans the memory of a lifetime on Saturday, passing out bobbleheads on his bobblehead day at PNC Park.

The video went viral, via the Pirates Twitter account:

Cruz, 24, is among the brightest young stars in the game. He is hitting .250 for the season with a homer, four RBI and three stolen bases through 32 at-bats. He's been out since early April with a broken ankle.

He made his major league debut in 2021 but really burst out in 2022, clocking 19 home runs and bringing in 61 in just 87 games.

The Pirates just got good news on Cruz recently, and reports indicated that he could be back in action in August, which would be a major boost to a Pirates team that is battling it out in the National League Central.

The Bucs beat the Cardinals on Saturday by a score of 4-3 thanks to a homer by Ke'Bryan Hayes, a double by Connor Joe and a single by Carlos Santana.

With the win, the Pirates are now 30-27. The loss the dropped the Cardinals to 25-34.
