The Cleveland Guardians will play the Los Angeles Dodgers Monday at 4:05 p.m. ET at the Dodgers' spring training home, Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Arizona.

Zach Plesac will take the mound Monday for the Guardians. Plesac, who the Guardians selected in the 12th round of the 2016 MLB Draft, was highly effective in his two seasons in 2019 and 2020. In the COVID-shortened 2020 season, Plesac posted a 2.28 ERA over eight starts and 55.1 innings pitched. Plesac has had an ERA over 4.00 over the last two seasons, however. He hopes to return to form in 2023.

Opposite Plesac will be Michael Grove, receiving the start for the Dodgers. Grove also made his Major League debut last season, posting a 4.60 ERA, 1-0 record, 1.43 WHIP and 92 ERA+ over 29.1 innings pitched and six starts.
