Team Mexico and Team Canada will meet for a critical game in Pool C of the World Baseball Classic Wednesday afternoon at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona.

Mexico, Canada and Team USA are tied for the lead in Pool C, with each team standing at 2-1. Wednesday is the final day of play for Pool C in the WBC. Canada and Mexico will play at 3:00 p.m. ET, and USA and Colombia will play at 10:00 p.m. ET.

Team Colombia is currently sitting at 1-2, while Great Britain has been eliminated from contention following its loss to Mexico Tuesday night. Great Britain finishes Pool C play at 1-3.

The winner of the Canada-Mexico duel will advance to the quarterfinals, beginning Friday in Miami.

Houston Astros pitcher Jose Urquidy will start for Team Mexico Wednesday. Former Chicago Cubs pitcher Rob Zastryzny will take the mound for Team Canada.
