Team Puerto Rico will play its third game of the World Baseball Classic Monday night at 7:05 p.m. ET, against Team Israel in Miami, Florida.

Puerto Rico is off to a 1-1 start in the WBC. Team Puerto Rico picked up a 9-1 victory over Nicaragua Saturday, but fell to Venezuela 9-6 Sunday. With Venezuela off to a 2-0 start, Monday's game might be a must-win for Puerto Rico.

Israel picked up its first win of the tournament Sunday, defeating Nicaragua 3-1 and getting off to a 1-0 start. Third baseman Garrett Stubbs led the way for Israel, picking up two hits, two RBI and a double, while batting in the lead-off spot. Sunday's hero, will not play Monday however, as he deals with knee soreness.

With Stubbs out of the lineup, centerfielder Joc Pederson will move into the lead-off spot, with Zack Gelof, Matt Mervis, Danny Valencia and Alex Dickerson hitting behind him. Colton Gordon will take the mound for Team Israel.

Israel will try for its second win Monday, as it takes on a very potent Team Puerto Rico lineup, that features Francisco Lindor, Javier Baez, Eddie Rosario and Kike Hernandez.

Both Israel and Puerto Rico are playing in Pool D in Miami. Entering Monday night's game, Venezuela leads the pool 2-0, with Israel trailing by a half-game, standing at 1-0. The Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico are tied for third, with both teams standing at 1-1, and Nicaragua in last at 0-3.
