Team USA will play Cuba Sunday night in Miami at 7:00 p.m. ET, with a trip to the World Baseball Classic Championship on the line.

Team USA manager Mark DeRosa will turn to St. Louis Cardinals veteran pitcher Adam Wainwright, with USA's tournament lives on the line.

Wainwright's Major League career traces back to before the first ever World Baseball Classic in 2006. Wainwright made his first MLB appearance in 2005. 18 years later, all of which he has spent with the St. Louis Cardinals, he is pitching in his first World Baseball Classic at the seasoned age of 41.

Roenis Elias will open the game on the mound for Team Cuba. After pitching most of his career for the Seattle Mariners, Elias signed a minor league contract with the Chicago Cubs in December.

The winner of Sunday's game will advance to play either Japan or Mexico in the championship game Tuesday night at loanDepot Park in Miami. Japan (5-0), led by Shohei Ohtani, has yet to lose a contest.

Team USA posted its starting lineup for Sunday's game on Twitter Sunday afternoon. Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson will once again start at second base, a position he had no professional experience playing before last week. In the small sample size, Anderson has excelled, with Trea Turner manning shortstop.

Here's a look at how Team USA will line up for Sunday's game:

1) RF Mookie Betts

2) CF Mike Trout

3) 1B Paul Goldschmidt

4) 3B Nolan Arenado

5) LF Kyle Schwarber

6) C Will Smith
