Toronto Blue Jays' Vlad Guerrero Jr. Makes a Young Fan's Day

In this story:
The Toronto Blue Jays may not be making friends and fans on the field, but they are certainly making fans off of it.
Earlier on Saturday, we told you about Jays pitcher Alek Manoah getting into it with Orioles utility player Adam Frazier.
Also, on Saturday, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. made the day of a young Blue Jays fan in the crowd.
A Jays fan held up a sign telling Jays shortstop Bo Bichette that he beat cancer, so Guerrero saw the sign and gifted the fan a bat in a heartwarming moment.

This isn't the first time that a Blue Jays player made the day of a young fan. Back in April, Jays outfielder Kevin Kiermaier gifted his batting gloves to a young fan.
On the field, Guerrero is off to another good start for Toronto. The 24-year-old is hitting .311 with seven homers this season. He's dealt with some nagging injuries but still has 27 RBI.
Guerrero is already a two-time All-Star selection and has recorded MVP votes in both 2021 and 2022.
The Blue Jays lost to the Orioles on Saturday by a score of 6-5 in extra innings. With the loss, the Jays are now 25-21 while the Orioles went to 30-16 with the win.
The two teams will play again on Sunday with the first pitch scheduled for 1:37 p.m. ET. Dean Kremer will pitch for Baltimore while Kevin Gausman will get the ball for Toronto.
That is the finale of the series as the Jays will play Tampa Bay on Monday and Baltimore will be off.
