In this story:

On Saturday, we saw NBA championship coach Erik Spoelstra hanging out at the Miami Marlins game and on Sunday, we see a pair of young Toronto Raptors taking in the Toronto Blue Jays game against the Oakland Athletics.

Raptors first-round pick Gradey Dick of Kansas and undrafted free agent Markquis Nowell (Kansas State) were in the crowd and documented their trip on social media.

Dick was taken 13th overall by the Raptors after one season in Lawrence. He averaged 14.1 ppg and 5.1 rebounds and figures to help a Raptors team that was bounced in the play-in round of the NBA playoffs this year.

Nowell is 23-years-old and led the Wildcats to a deep run in the NCAA Tournament this year, where they were beaten by tournament darling Florida Atlantic. He averaged 17.6 ppg and 8.3 assists, which was second in the country.

It's good to see these former college rivals taking in a ballgame together. At the time of this posting, they are seeing a Blue Jays lead. Toronto leads the A's, 4-0, in the top of the sixth inning.

Blue Jays leadoff hitter George Springer hit a leadoff homer, which helped him make some history. Toronto entered the day at 42-36 and in fourth-place in the American League East. They are also currently tied for the third spot in the American League wild card picture.

The Blue Jays will be off on Monday before hosting the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday night at the Rogers Centre. First pitch is set for 7:07 p.m. ET.
