The Atlanta Braves are all over the news cycle on this Tuesday.

First, we learned that starting pitcher Ian Anderson was going to miss the rest of the season. Jeff Passan of ESPN reported that he'll need Tommy John surgery and will be back in 2024.

Then, we got some updates on injured Braves Max Fried, Raisel Iglesias and Travis d'Arnaud.

Then, Matt Olson hit a home run at a whopping 118.6 mph off of Luis Cessa. That was the hardest hit home run for the Braves of the StatCast era.

And now? We've got this blast from Ozzie Albies. The Braves second baseman hit his 100th career home run in the bottom of the fourth inning, also off Cessa.

The two-run home run came on a 92 mph fastball down and in and was blasted into the right field seats. It tied the game at 4-4 at the time.

Albies, 26, is in his seventh season with the Braves. He debuted in 2017 and quickly became a fan favorite in Atlanta. He's a two-time all-star already in his career who led the National League in hits in 2019, when he had 189 hits. He also played 156 games in 2021, when the Braves won the World Series.

Alongside Ronald Acuna Jr., Austin Riley and Olson, the Braves have one of the most formidable lineups in all of baseball.

They won 101 games a season ago, winning the National League East, and figure to be among the World Series contenders again this year.
