WATCH: Boston Red Sox Fans Go Wild During Rain Delay vs. Los Angeles Angels

In this story:
You've got to give it to Boston Red Sox fans, who found a way to enjoy a lengthy rain delay on Monday afternoon at Fenway Park.
First off, the Red Sox were facing the Los Angeles Angels. The game was scheduled for 11:10 a.m. ET but was pushed back until after noon because of rain. The game was scheduled to start so early because of the "Marathon Monday/Patriots Day" holiday in the city.
When the game finally did start, the teams played into the third inning before another lengthy rain delay took hold. The Angels were leading the Red Sox, 5-1, at the time of the rain delay.
But once again, those Boston fans found a way to make the best of a bad situation. You can watch some of the scene below:

That's exactly what you expect from the famed "Bleacher Creatures" at Fenway Park.
As for the game, the Angels scored four runs in the top of the first inning off Red Sox prospect Brayan Bello, making his first start of the season. The big blast of that inning was a three-run home run by former Red Sox outfielder Hunter Renfroe.
The Sox got one back in the bottom half of the first off of Shohei Ohtani but Ohtani had to be taken out after the second inning because of the rain delay. He was replaced by Tucker Davidson.
At the time of this posting, play has resumed with the Angels still leading 5-1 in the top of the sixth inning.
After this game, the Red Sox play host to the Twins while the Angels travel to New York to play the Yankees.
