The interim title fight between Carlos Adames and Julian Williams is upon us.

Adames and Williams are set to collide inside The Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota this Saturday night (June 24). This will be the first interim title defense for Adames. He captured the gold back in October 2022 when he knocked out Juan Macias Montiel in the third round.

As for Williams, he's looking to nab another world title win in his career, albeit interim. The former WBA, IBF, and IBO junior middleweight titleholder has gone 1-2 in his last three outings. After suffering a two-fight skid, Williams earned a unanimous decision victory over Rolando Mansilla late last year.

The Carlos Adames vs. Julian Williams card will be airing live on Showtime in the United States. The preliminary action will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET, while the main card gets started at 9 p.m. ET. Ring walks for the main event fighters are expected to take place at around 11 p.m. ET, but of course, that can change.
