WWE SmackDown Preview: The Rock Comes Back 'Home,' Rey Mysterio Appears
WWE SmackDown is live once again, and The Rock returns to the place he calls his wrestling home.
The FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee will play host to tonight's episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Featured on the show will be The Rock, who began his wrestling career in Memphis. What he'll have in store for tonight remains to be seen. There was a report that "The Great One" could possibly have a concert segment, but WWE hasn't confirmed that.
There will be plenty more to sink your teeth into with the blue brand, including a grudge match and an appearance from a superstar who recently made his return from injury.
The 2024 women's Royal Rumble winner Bayley will collide with her former Damage CTRL stablemate Dakota Kai. Dakota turned her back on Bayley during a tag team match, and joined the rest of Damage CTRL in beating down the next WWE Women's Championship contender. Can Bayley get a measure of revenge this evening?
Plus, Rey Mysterio will be making an appearance. During the March 1st episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Mysterio made his return and cost Santos Escobar a win in his Street Fight against Carlito. What will Rey Mysterio have to say to Santos and the rest of Legado Del Fantasma?
