WrestleMania 40: Update on WWE Ticket Sales Ahead Of Two-Night PLE In Philly

Ticket sales for WrestleMania 40 are thriving.

Business continues to boom for WWE, and WrestleMania 40 is certainly no exception.

The company is making its way over to Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA for the biggest wrestling event of 2024. This year's WrestleMania two-night special will take place on April 6th and 7th. WWE is loading up that weekend with massive names such as The Rock, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch, and many more.

A new report has surfaced revealing the current ticket sales for WrestleMania 40, and the show is looking like a major hit less than a month out.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that night one of WrestleMania XL has 57,768 tickets out. As for night two, 58,978 tickets have been distributed. The report notes that the setup at Lincoln Financial Field for both nights is 60,012 tickets, and the show will indeed be a sellout soon.

The success of WrestleMania 40 ticket sales may not come as a surprise. After all, WWE has been on fire in terms of business. The company recently scored a major $5 billion deal with Netflix to have Monday Night Raw air live on the streaming service beginning in 2025.

WWE is also selling out arenas for its weekly Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown shows. It's gotten to the point where the promotion has been reducing the stage area for certain shows to make way for more seats.

On night one of WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns and The Rock will team up to take on back-to-back Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. Night two of WrestleMania will be headlined by an Undisputed WWE Universal Championship rematch between titleholder Reigns and Rhodes.
