Octagon debuts don't get much better than Vinicius Olievira's at UFC Vegas 87.

"Lok Dog" faced a short-notice debutant in Bernado Sopaj. Oliveira lost round one and most of round two before turning the fight around. After reversing position late in the second, Oliveira unleashed vicious ground and pound which exhausted his Albanian foe. Sopaj didn't recover fast enough for the third round, where Oliveira beat him pillar to post.

The Brazilian finisher chopped at Sopaj's calf before startling him with a left hook, sending him reeling into the octagon side. Oliveira chased Sopaj down and uncorked a spectacular flying knee which landed flush, completely ragdolling Sopaj and securing a knockout finish.

Watch the finish below:

The victory marks Oliveira's first victory by knee, extending his win streak to three. "Lok Dog" secured a UFC contract with a shocking left hook knockout over Victor Madrigal on Dana White's Contender Series (DWCS). Despite being one of the hottest prospects from DWCS, he has faced three career setbacks, though he insisted he feels "invincible" on his current streak, per the UFC broadcast.

The 28-year-old Brazilian is entering his athletic peak, and with a 23-fight resume, he should be primed for an exciting run in the UFC. "Lok Dog" is one to watch.
